The Vivian Demonstrator

Welcome to the Vivian Demonstrator.  Vivian is a virtual management consultant that enables conversations with people at the sort of scales that prohibit the use of human consultants.

The Vivian Demonstrator is indicative of a production system, showing all of the main elements of a diagnostic conversation with the complexities that a broad and deep process would involve.

So we invite you to participate in a role play, led by Vivian.  The context of the role play is that of a process to improve the culture of an organisation.  A dialogue with each person in the organisation has occurred, collecting sentiment data on four factors related to work management in the organisation: best practice in the defined roles of the organisation; having the resources necessary to do the role to the best of their ability; new hires being inducted into the best way of fulfilling their role; and an environment that enables continuous improvement.

The results of the sentiments of the participants are displayed in a heatmap, that you will see below.  Vivian will describe the structure of the heatmap and the meaning of the data to you – you will play the role of a member of the sales and marketing team of a fictional widget production company.

Vivian will then facilitate a conversation with you to examine the causes of one of the issues revealed in the heatmap that you will select.  We encourage you to draw on your experiences that might have resulted in similar sentiment that you see in the heatmap.
